What an incredible birthday week it is shaping up to be! Monday night had a great dinner with family, the filet mingnon oh so good, and then last night Tracy and Karin conspired with my house church and other friends to throw me a surprise birthday party. The party started at 5:30. I discovered the blowers and birthday napkins at 5:27. I was near giddy. We ate a feast. We cornholed. We sat by the fire till all hours. A great, great celebration... Sadly I only turn 35 once this year but there has been some talk of extending the celebration into July for those who are still interested in giving me gifts. I'm not too proud to receive. On days like this, I love my life and it seems to love me back.
